Property Management Coordinator

London based

Salary £25 - £27k

Home Made is looking for a Property Management Coordinator with great organisational skills who can provide best-in-class operational support to our expanding managed property portfolio. Office-based in Waterloo with our supportive and innovative team, you will coordinate logistics for our growing Property Management department, ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time, and that our documentation and compliance is always kept up to date. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing property-tech startup that is dedicated to improving the experience of renting.

Working with us

We believe in individual and collective ownership of all the work that drives our company journey, and have created a mutually supportive, fun-loving environment to help our team thrive. You will be joining a diverse, multicultural team from a multitude of commercial backgrounds with a startup mindset and an eagerness to disrupt conventional wisdom.

Home Made needs you if you want to:

  • Work with the Property Management team to organise proactive and reactive responses to any issues at our managed properties, ensuring a best-in-class tenant and landlord experience.
  • Own the tracking and coordination of day-to-day operations, including prioritising and scheduling maintenance visits and compliance checks.
  • Become the trusted point of contact for property managers, tenants, landlords, and contractors: you will make sure that works happen as per your schedule, and that everyone relevant is kept informed.
  • Ensure our properties are compliant with all relevant legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all imminent policy changes pertinent to our operations.
  • Manage our database of third-party contractors, tracking and evaluating their performance after each visit, and making sure they comply with our terms of business.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that tenants are moved in and moved out smoothly and efficiently and all regulatory and contractual expectations are met.
  • Invoicing and associated financial administration.
  • Ensure all property communications and updates are logged in our internal CRM system, providing all Home Made teams with full visibility into every tenancy.
  • Support the use of technology to improve the property management process.

Home Made need you because you have:

  • Experience coordinating contractors, preferably maintenance contractors.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills - you must be confident to speak with tenants, landlords, and third parties during what can be very stressful times for them, managing any disputes with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Evidence of being a completer-finisher - always following problems through until resolution.
  • Familiar with using project management software.
  • Team player.
